Know your eyebrows
If you are looking for a result as natural as possible, you need to know your eyebrows well. This step is as simple as looking in the mirror and making sure you understand well what role the shape, density and bow of your eyebrows play on your face. The reason is that you have to try by all means not to risk all that makes them unique during hair removal, since there is the key to naturalness.
On the other hand, waxing your eyebrows is something completely optional. If you think you can’t improve them (many think that each eyebrow is perfect in its own way), consider leaving them as they are. And when you act, do it sparingly and putting into practice the following tips.
Front and temples
If you want to give your eyebrows a more definite shape, forehead and temples are a good place to start depilating. You will achieve results without taking any risks, as it is not necessary to work on the eyebrows.
It is about patiently tearing off all the loose hairs (in some cases there is more than in others) that are between the top of the eyebrows and the hair growth line.
When you’re done, your eyebrows will still look the same, but everything around them should be cleaner, with a hair-free area between the beginning of the hair and your eyebrows.
Where should they start and where to finish eyebrows
The risk of disaster is high when you start to tear hair without knowing exactly how to depilate your eyebrows. It is not advisable to rush when it comes to eyebrows. These stripes of hair over the eyes play a role in the image much more important than it may seem. In addition, it may take several weeks to return to its normal state after a bad decision with the tweezers.
For a good result, comb your eyebrows to separate the hairs and see more clearly the material you have to work. Of course, you will also need a tweezers for depilating:
The beginning of eyebrows
Draw an imaginary straight line from the center of your nostril to the forehead. It is considered that the beginning of the eyebrow should be the point where the line intersects with your eyebrow.
Tear off the hairs that are outside the limit in case there are. You can use a pencil or other thin, elongated object over the marked point so as not to lose the reference while you’re deplating. Repeat the same operation with the other eyebrow.
The end of the eyebrows
Draw another imaginary line, this time going from the outer edge of your nostril to the outer edge of your eye. Now continue to lengthen that line until you reach the temple. As before, the point you look for is where the line and eyebrow intersect, because that is where the end of the eyebrow is considered to be located.
Once again, you can use something elongated instead of an imaginary line while, with a tweezers, you are dedicated to tearing off the hairs outside the limit. Do the same thing on the other eyebrow.
Note: Please note that this is only indicative. Actually, nothing happens if your eyebrows do not fit these measurements. As far as the length of the eyebrow is concerned, the most important thing is, whether they are shorter or longer, that you look favored and, above all, that both start and end at the same point.
About thickness
If on the subject of the length of the eyebrows can intervene personal preferences, in the thickness they do it even more. There is no perfect thickness or anything likethat, it depends on genetics and whether you like them wider or thinner. If you decide to intervene, do it always maintaining its natural form.
Is it necessary to cut them?
As you may have already seen, the size of the eyebrow hair is always more or less equal. Apparently, this is because they fall off upon reaching a certain length and then growing again.
That doesn’t mean you can’t trim them a little (always with small scissors) from time to time. Combing them up and pass your scissors if you feel like you need to keep a few ungovernable hairs at bay or just if you would like to see them a little lighter than they are.
